g2 snow plow ideas
I purchased a Yamaha snow plow a couple of weeks ago, it has round tubes coming off of it with mounting tabs on it so it needs to be mounted under the cart. The tubes are too short to reach the swing arm and I really don't want to lengthen them. I'd like to fab up some kind of mounting system under the floor board. Anybody done this before or have any ideas?

Re: g2 snow plow ideas
It doesn't need to mount to the swing-arm,the frame is perfectly fine(and a better mount-location anyways). You could make a simple plate with mount-tabs for the blade push-arms to pin to.Alot of the Four-Wheelers use u-bolt clamps around the frame,2-per side to mount the plate to the frame. With the spread of the frame,I would use a piece of 1/4"x 6" steel plate, and a brace across wouldn't hurt either, nothing heavy, maybe even a piece of 1/4"x2" angle from side to side just behind the mounting-lugs for the blade. Then just figure out a mount to bolt the winch to the front bumper-mount.Hope this helps.
