G1 gas gen. Starter cables
Hello everybody, im replaceing my starter gen, i want to replace my cables to, can someone help me about whats the best gauge to buy, and how long should i go? And could i use elect cart cables? Thanks

no ones there, ok how about what size of studs on a g1 starter? Im going to use 6 gauge cable with 1/4 inch ring terminals should this work? Thanks

The terminal on the starter / generator is a M6-1.0 stud so the ¼” terminal should work. After looking at the wiring on my cart I would say a #4 cable would be more appropriate. At 12 VDC the current can rise quickly. Good Luck.
