Default g16 lift kit

If I go with a 6" lift kit, do I need to go with off set rims?

Yes,Depending on the kit, some can use stock diameter(8") with offset(stock are not offset, they are centered).Others require a 10" wheel diameter. Hope this helps.

The inside of the wheel(closer to hub)will be less than outside depth.Usually 2"/5" or 3"/4" offsets. The spacers are an option but pricey compared to a new rim if you have steel wheels.Hope this helps.

Are there any wire retainers or clips holding it,that might give some slack when unhooked or rerouted?I haven't run across any issues with the choke cable, and don't remember anyone ever mentioning it.

There is a longer choke cable. Block sold me one when I did a G22 a couple yrs ago. But I didn't need it, so never put it on!! This one measures 15" from the clevis to the point where it goes through the hole in the body!!

My god, "Made in United States"!!!!!! Haven't seen that since the 60's!!
