Default need help G 1 problem

i was riding around on yammy g1 today and when I stopped and tried to go again nothing just sits there, something electrical, I traced few things down ,key switch, throttle switch , relay and solonoids , any of which could be the problem, but dont really know how to check them , didnt want to go messin around and end up fry n my cdi box, any help on checking these plz thanks R A

Mine every once and again does the same thing, I have to cycle the ignition key to reverse and back and it will go again. The switches do get dirty contacts. Try this first and see if its the ignition.

yes i tried several times but someone has used a screwdriver or something on my switch I dont have a key just use one of my bike keys but it has been doing fine , I am gonna have to check it along with others I just need some procedure so I dont mess anything else up, I hit the fender where the relay is and it tried to turn over for a second , but could have been accident , Im leaning toward pedal switch or relay thanks R A

Check the fuses on top of rear inner fender.

did not the problem, I dont have any of the terminals on the back of the ignition switch that is hot shouldnt there be some fire up there ,does it go thru the pedel switch first ? does anyone have wiring diagram for a G1 that can email it ? I think Im gonna need one thanks R A

Click on Service And Parts, owners manual, then choose your model year. There is a wiring diagram for my 1979. Haven't looked at other years, but bet they are there.
