Default plow man's carb jets

Anyone order a jet from plowman? Lady said he won't be back till thursday or friday. But I prefer just ordering the jet but what size does he offer? I live in southern California and my g2 has a dirt bike air filter ever since I bought the cart it never ran perfect. I believe I need to take my jet up a size any suggestions? Or past experience with jets sizing

Motojoe, you may want to take a look at your spark plug first before doing the re-jet. Check out how it looks and check it compared to a chart on line to see how it stacks up.

As for not running perfect, what is it doing or not doing? It could just need a good carb cleaning, which isn't actually hard to do and most the time you won't even need any new parts do do it.

I wouldn't think that just changing the air filter would cause the engine running problems to the point you'd notice it a lot. Usually when you start opening up both the filter and exhaust is when you start noticing running problems. Of course, others will chime in and I may be wrong. I have had engines I've been working on and had the filter completely off that didn't idle or run good.

As for the actual jetting, I've not done any on carts, as I have changed the engine in mine.

Talk to Don when he gets back. He will want to know about your cart, it's use, and what you expect out of it. He knows what he's doing, and can set you up with what you need.

Yeah I think you have to upload it first to Youtube or Photobucket, because I don't think the BGW uploader does vids...
