Default Adjustable roof question

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to put brackets on for an adjustable top? My biggest problem is I have RCA cables in one side and battery wires in the other, all for the stereo. Any one ran across options?

Mr. Fire fighter - Here's your answer to the adjustable roof question. This type of hinge would allow plenty of room for wire bend, as long as we have plenty of wire (say 2" of extra) and will let us do a 3 -4 " drop of the top.

This was built by guys on the drag strip in Arizona, but I'm sure we could come up with a similar design, just not in aluminum.

Heres a pic of a hinge made for dropping roof from site sponsor xt innovations. They are very affordable in my opinion. I have been meaning to order a set for the st as it doesnt fit in my enclosed trailer (too tall). As far as the wire, I would either add slack or look at quick disconnects if a significant drop is needed.

How much drop you think I can get with this setup?
