Default G8 Primary clutch buzz

91 G8 - Primary clutch has a buzz in it at times, mostly when it's pulling a little harder than not. Have ran it in neutral and get the same buzz as it is coming up to higher rpm's. I haven't taken the cover off yet to take a look. I have another clutch laying around that the face of the sheave is cupped, but the internals look good, so I might just try swapping the spider and links and weights, etc. Do I use thread lock on the allen head screws that hold the links to the sheave? Any thoughts or advice?

I don't know about a "buzz" noise. You need to use "heat" to lossen the loctite on the original set screws (or you can strip them) and it will damage the plastic washers Yes, you want to "blue loctite" the set screws back in. Good luck with your project.
