Running 25" tires
I have a 2001 g16 and I found a great deal on a set of 25" tires
My 22s were in bad shape so I thought what the heck. I have a 7" jakes double a arm lift on it so clearance is fine. It rides great Steering and alignment are great. Hits 24 with governor zip tied. I am happy wit it. But is there anything Im missing? Will I have clutch or any other issues in the future The brakes are the only thing so far that are too great What else should I know about running big tires Thanks |

Re: Running 25" tires
I would recommend a stiffer spring in the secondary. With a tire that big and using the stock motor,it has to be lacking low end power.

Re: Running 25" tires
Ok sorry I forgot to put that in the post
I have a plowmans orange secondary spring with machined sheave Modified air box re jetted carb jakes hd rear springs. So everything seems fine to me. I'm just wondering if there's any definite problems from running bigger tires that will surprise me. |

Re: Running 25" tires
They just take power and give speed, though they might take a little more power to turn from friction depending. I doubt there will be much difference, maybe enough to notice is all. Make sure your clutches are working well. Biggest issue is clearance to the cart.
