Default front a arm bolts

I was going to put the front lift kit on my g14 today but the bolts in the a arms seemed very very snug in the bushings. Anyone have a method for their removal?

I had the same issue on my g16. PB blaster and an impact is what mine took. And a lot of cussing.

Have to cut them off with a saw all, sometimes, thats what I had to do. I used "Never Seize" to put it back together!! So that doesn't happen again!!

Depending on where the but was (in or out) maybe a punch, mine were bolt head out,and repetitive with an impact broke them free and the eventually came out.

Penetrating oil and an air chisel with a pointed chisel. You'll most likely have to replace the bolts anyway, so don't be afraid of hammering them.

Ordered a impact chisel last night.Still driving with lift in rear and nose down.Cart is scary fast with 24's on back.Noticed steering play and packed grease into and adjusted steering box. Also noticed panhard bar mount wiggling and welded that in.First time using my new eastwood mig.Never got tank for it yet so used it as flux welder. WHAT a difference over my HF flux unit. BUT at 3 times the cost.

Yeah I welded it where the extension goes on to the original body mount.Works good other than it looks like a 70's hot rod with the high back end and low nose.Hopefully next weekend I can get those darn a arm bolts out with the air chisel! Handled good with me and mr chevy from across the street in it. He is a big boy at 300 lbs plus my near 200 lbs so we gave the new set up a good test.

Take the air-hammer with a Punch-Bit,and rattle against the flats on the bolts(where the wrench fits)alternating top to bottom, side to side. You can also rattle a lttle on the end of the head as well.Do Not use penetrating-fluids,just keep rattling, you will see rusty-dust starting to blow out, keep rattling a bit more, and the sound will change.Take an impact with a socket, and they should spin freely.I work in a Spring-Shop,we do this on cars/trucks every day,it works awesome.Make sure you get new Metric bolts to put the A-arms back in if re-using them,Standard bolts fit loose in the bushings.
