G1 Clutch Puller
Can anyone help with info on a G1 clutch puller? I Have a G1 - G22 puller which doesn't fit. I read that the threads are M14 x 1.0 and cannot locate a bolt to fabricate a puller.

Re: G1 Clutch Puller
Thanks.... I should be able to get a picture tomorrow. The clutch is a 4-weight unit. The clutch puller I have looks the same but the diameter of the shaft will not slide inside on the drive sheave attached to the engine.

Re: G1 Clutch Puller
Yep that's the early G1 clutch. Good clutch. So can you post a pic of your puller? You say it won't go inside the shaft?

Re: G1 Clutch Puller
Many thanks. I was able to contact a supplier who measured the puller he had for sale and I believe it is what I need. I believe as suggested, my puller was wrong. The vendor says it fits G1-G22 but it does not fit mine. I sent it back today and ordered another from the new vendor. When I receive it I will verify it works. Yes the diameter of the bad puller was around 11/16 and the center of my clutch is roughly 1/2"

Re: G1 Clutch Puller
Issue solved. The first puller was incorrect although the vendor still feels it is correct. New puller received and clutch was off in five minutes. Thanks again!
