Default front clutch on yamaha g22 removal? help

ok, well this is where I am. I have taken the bolt out of the clutch and bought the clutch removal tool and tried using it but the threads ended up striping out and the clutch did not budge. Has anyone else had this happen and is there any other ideas out there to get the darn thing off. I have a small oil lead on the crank gasket and really would like to replace it. I need some ideas on how to get it off now? I hope someone can help. Thanks in advance for any ideas or fixes

You might want to give this a try if your clutch removal tool is no good anymore...

Not sure about the G22, but on my G8, there are four engine mount nuts that were easy to remove. I could then lift the motor off the mounts and turn it on its side to remove the clutch. Once the motor mounts are removed, you could always disconnect the wires and the pull the whole motor from the cart. Once the motor is on its side, the water will stay.

I don't think you'll be able to remove the clutch without the proper puller, and some pullers are way better than others. Lotsa junk on ebay . Did you use an impact wrench?
