Default 1996 gas yamaha

I have a 96 yamaha gas golf cart that was running good , it smoked a bit. Now it just quit running. It has gas an got good spark. Anyone have any idles what could be wrong .

Check the spark plug and make sure its not oil covered.

Check for broken throttle cable.

Thanks all for the post. I found what wrong , found a broke wire from the coil

Now what do u think about the smoking issue , it was little low on oil I filled it up now it smokes

Dump the oil,and put in 1 quart only!!

See where it measures on the dip stick, that is your "new" full mark!!

Hey Mac. I have done all that an it still smokes bad. Do u think its time for a ring job or valves

It could be your valve guides or valves.
