g22 fuel pump
Hey Folks,
Just lost here, I hope everyone is well, and having fun. On my Yamaha g-22, the main broke... no big deal but I had to wait a few days because of the holiday. I went and picked up the new cable and installed it the next day. Now the fuel pump quit working for no apparent reason. I`ve checked the filter and everything else I could think of. Is it possible that I could have missed something. thank you for any and all ideas. I wish you all the best. just lost |

Re: g22 fuel pump
The main broke??? Throttle cable you mean? The fuel pump runs on vacuum and not really a common item that will fail unless is gummed up with ethanol or trash got past the filter. Try this, take the fuel hose where it attches to the carb. Put the loose end in a bottle or ziplock bag. Put the cart in neutral and press the pedal. If the fuel pump isworking properly it should spray a good steady stream of fuel.
