Default Yamaha G2 Dies When Warm

Alright guys, the new shop is firing on all cylinders! Got a friend who has a 1989 Yamaha G2 gas cart that once it warms up, it dies. They had this same issue about a year ago and someone told them to remove the air filter and try it. The cart worked fine for a while until now, the same issue has resurfaced. I'm working on limited info and will know more once the cart is dropped off

If the spark is absent when stalling occurs. Try swapping a different coil?

Well it's not a 1989 nor is it a G2. It's a 1993 G9, and I am now the owner. He wanted to sell it rather than mess around with it, and he wanted $1000 for it. What the heck, I'll take the gamble. It's pretty clean, has a windshield, enclosure, and a golf ball / club cleaner. Frame is like new. Now I just have to wait for it to act up so I can troubleshoot. So far it's been fine

Yep, it is a nice clean cart. What are the plans? Other than getting it running right of course!

It's been maintained by the local dealer so I really don't have to do a thing to it. Probably clean it up and flip it

Glad to see you got it. If you need a used coil or igniter just let me know, i have a few extras. It was great hearing from you the other day.

Are there any test procedures for the coil or igniter? Or is it hard to pin down since it's intermittent?
