How many have broken airbox mounting brackets???
Every g29 I've owned in the past and current all have the airbox bracket weld broken in the same location. The broken bracket vibrates and makes a jingling sound while cruising. Here is some pics so that all the other forum members and guest can take a look and report there findings here. Interested to see how many members here have or had this issue. I'm not sure what all past generation yamaha carts have this same bracket so please chime in.

All G16a and newer have it. Cant count how many i have replaced.......... If it were mine, i would weld it, but at the shop i dont turn the welder on for less than 1.0 labor, so they get replaced.

That portion of the bracket should have been thicker and welded on both sides.

Its a simple weld no need to waste customers money on a new one. I just weld both side and they never break again. Sure beats replacing with the same product that is still not reinforced.

yep.. mine is cracked as well... hopefully the wife doesn't complain about it... it wasn't making a lot of noise..

Every cart at the dealer is cracked. He just got a very nice clean fleet of 2012 carts in from up north and all are cracked. All 13 carts. Unless you know what to look for you would never notice it broken the way it blends in with te black paint.
