Burn heating oil in my G-1?
Does anyone have advice about using up a surplus of heating oil by mixing it with gasoline in my tank? Bought a beach house with an ungderground fuel tank and the boiler has been long removed? Thanks.

Don't do that! Use 2 stroke oil only!

If you want to use up the surplus oil it makes for GREAT weed killerI'm sure I'll get somefor this comment but I would highly recommend NOT USING IT IN YOUR CART OR ANYTHING YOU LIKEif you know anyone that burns waste oil in there furnace I'm sure they will gladly take it off your hands

I will dispose of it it otherwise. Near the Chesapeake Bay killing weeds is out of the question. I appreciate the warnings. I thought it might be harmless in a blend. Thanks.

Re: Burn heating oil in my G-1?
What are you calling "heating oil" this in many cases is nothing more than a type of/or lower grade diesel, in other cases it is a heavier oil more akin to a crude and nothing like lube oil at all.

Re: Burn heating oil in my G-1?
It seems close kerosene. I thought it would burn as a fuel, not perform as a lubricant. I'm guessing it would lower my octane but a two cycle engine runs low octane at a low compression. It works as Tiki torch fuel albeit smoky. Maybe discourages mosquitoes.
