Default G1 rear axle

Hi all

i want to swap my g1 axle for a g2 axle how much work is involved
will the brake cables match up? Will the mounting bolts match up
would it also be possible to remove the axles from the g1 and bolt it onto
the g2 transmission part only?

Thanks
walter

I'm running a G2 rear with G1 axles. Everything bolts right up. However, I am also running a clone motor so my setup is a bit different. The G2 axles are actually offset to compensate for the rear belt drive. Since the G1 ran a 2 stroke and didn't need reverse in the rear end so the axles are the same length.
What motor are you running? This will help determine the axles to use.

Another question will the driven clutch from the g1 axle fit the shaft
on the g2 axle?

Thanks

Yes it will fit. I've also converted a G2 axel on my G1.
