Default Ok so I'm going to replace secondary clutch

and spring etc with plowmans kit. I spoke to Don this afternoon, this guy really knows his stuff. Is there anything I should consider while doing this and how the hell am I supposed to get that first castle nut off? Why do I need to remove the drivers side rear tire? I'm also having a hell of a time removing the belt as I can get it ur from between the round frame bar and the clutch.

There are several videos on youtube. Do yourself a favor and get a secondary puller.

Get a puller most steering wheel pullers work, the bolts are metric some pullers have them. The belt you yank and it should come loose enough to roll over the edge of the secondary and get off if you roll the cart some and push on it. The castle nut is a nylock nut it should not be real tight as they have a key in there anyway. The pin is just in case it comes loose then your clutch does not fly off, because the whole thing will fly off. Be careful of the sheaves don't use any tools on them you will bend or break them, on any clutch. You can slide a 2x4/1x4/etc in there to hold the thing together until you get the nut on when you put it back on. If the nut is trashed consider getting a new one they are not that much, some have had them strip with big springs in there but likely due to age of nut.

I'm just having a very hard time taking that first nut off because the clutch wants to turn. Can someone show me a pic of the puller I need to get?

You'll probably need to use an impact wrench on the nut.

I haven't been able to find any videos for removing a g1 secondary clutch. Can you link one to me? Actually I just saw one for a g22 but it doesn't appear to be all that much different. They actually made it look simple. I just don't see how using an impact wrench stops the clutch from turning but I'll give it a try if I can fit it in there some how.

There's not enough room for an impact wrench in there, does removing the tire give access?
