Default Off road lights for headlights?

Trying to figure out what I can use for headlights on a G1 and how to wire them. Any ideas? What are y'all using?

12v- to battery (i don't like ground to cart) to lights
12v+ from battery to dash switch to lights

edit: add inline fuse from 12+ battery

Yeah that would be my question too. Floods or spot. Any need for a relay?
