Default ONE last question before I put this thing back together

This is what the oil pump housing looked like. Does this look like it came from a torn up seal or something else?

Bad crank seal causes that.

ok good, that's what i thought. i just didn't want to put this all back together only to find that this was coming from the oil pump. i'm going to put most of it back together this weekend. we'll see what happens.

that was much easier. now i have to find out where i can get some new fasteners. i can't fine one for the oil pump gear case and i can't find the circlip for the primary clutch. i also need the two screws that hold the coil plate as they were stripped.

Did you lube the crankshaft and the seal lips during install?
