Yamaha g2 price?
I have a yamaha. I was wondering if someone can tell me a price I should ask for it. Has a recent paint job. The tires are all good and hold air. It has a new primary and secondary clutch along with a torque spring installed. It still goes the stock speed just has more low end torque. Has led headlights and taillights. New ignition, battery, solenoid, tune up, and wiring for the lights.

Re: Yamaha g2 price?
it depends a lot on where you live and what they are going for in your area, I paid $1,200 for my G2, with a lift and 22" tires

Re: Yamaha g2 price?
I searched local and couldn't find anything. I can get 1300 from a guy so I guess I'll take it?

Re: Yamaha g2 price?
I would. Friend of mine bought a G14 (1995 or 1996) end of last summer with a 6" jakes lift, roof, alum rear seat, but cheaper 22 tires and offset steel wheels and a 'good' red paint job for 2000. It was a good deal he found local, that cart would have been more if advertised. G2 was made 1985-1990 it is older, G9 was made between the G2 and G14 and is nearly the same as a G2 just newer with minor updates.

Re: Yamaha g2 price?
If you can get more then get it. Here in MI spring is selling season, its coming up soon. Here the retirees keep the prices up, they buy anything.
Here people buy up any old cart, spray can the whole thing, put the cheapest $300 lift/tires on it they can find, and put it out for sale for 2500. I see them all over, CL is full of them and want ads for old carts. You might consider going in that direction. It depends on if you want to work to get more out of it or not. Even if they get 2K out of a 1200 cart with a 300 lift on it, that is good money for a few hours work. I get huge laughs out of antique carts with new spraycan paint on them for huge prices, but if someone is willing to pay it then its a pretty smart idea. I mean for 3500 max budget I've seen 5-10yr old carts go and some had lifts and all that on them, personally I would save my pennies for that deal problem is then I start looking at used utv since I trail ride a lot. I can't seem to figure out what to do, then I get into some other non golf cart project. |
