Default engine rebuild

iam rebuilding my 93 g9 how do i know if the cylinder has been bored out and how much.

most of the time it's stamped or marked some how on the top of the piston.

Ya There R No Markings On The Piston,i Dont No If That Meant Is Was Standard R Not.

If no markings (.25 or .50) on top of the piston, most likley standard. Measurements- std-73.00mm/2.874 in.....first oversize-73.25mm/2.884 in...second oversize-73.50mm/2.894 in. Hope this helps. Later Dave

Well It Hasent Been Bored But It Needes It The Sides Of The Cylinder Wall Running The Direction Of The Cranks Good 2.875 But The Front And The Back R Rite At .25mm Already 2.884, I Guess My Question Would Be Should I Go Ahead And Bore It .50 Mm Over Since Its Rite At The .25 Already On The Front And Back R Try It .25 Possibley Missing Some Area Do To 2little Stock To Turn

yeah i would bore it to .50.why go halfway.check the rod bearings while ur at it too. they r probably worn as well
