Yamaha g9 crank bearings change
I am rebuilding my g9 and need a little advice on best way to change the two crank bearings is this something I could do myself or will I need a machine shop?

You can do it yourself. They will stay in the block/cover when the crank is removed. A little heat on the aluminum will make them come out really easy, but is not necessary, they are not a tight press fit. Put the new bearings in the freezer (in a plastic bag to avoid moisture) before you drop them in place in the block/cover.

Thanks, went out today and tapped the bearings out pretty easily.
