Default G16 wiring nightmare

picked up a G16 and they keyswitch and an Unknown and gas pedal switch were all bypassed but cannot get to do anything. I have a new keyswitch being delivered today and in process of removing positive and negative wires bypassing gas/brake connected to toggle switch and going to reconnect the factory wires now there is another set running to battery relay with a fuse not sure what they are for and another toggle switch. previous owner said start solenoid was bad and they bypassed it to make it go. not sure about this either they were not Engine Mechanically inclined.

This is probably the way to go. This is definitely the right thing to do. Sounds like the old harness is crucified.

Might check the "for sale" section. When members put in bigblock's, they don't use the wireharness ect. Might post "wanted" G16 wireharness and what ever else you need.
