Yamaha G2 rev limiter
Have a friend's cart that started surging at wot thought it was starving of fuel after new fuel filter and fresh carb clean determined it was hitting the rev limiter (?) the nut on the governer was cranked all the way down... here is the odd part the governer has been like this for a couple years and haven't had an issue hitting the the limiter if I back the nut off it will run correctly. Clutches seam to be functioning properly. My question is why or what happened to all of the sudden make it do this? Would like to keep the top speed but cant crank down on govener nut very far before it starts acting up again
