Default removing rust in hard to get areas

Decided to take a look at the G2 I picked up a couple weeks ago, thinking I bit off more than I wanted too, had to pull it out of the dirt with an suv wheels were locked up and flat, had too be there for 2/3 years I guess, pulled it in the garage and checked oil and drained old fuel an added new, put a battery in it and after about 30 seconds of cranking it fired right up, smoked a little not sure from sitting or maybe rings are shot.. didn't run it long, body is pretty bad, and frame a lot better than I expected, wired wheeled some and looks like the only real bad spot is the battery box, no big deal there, i'm looking for something I can use to clean the rust up in tight areas, any ideas? Thanks gentlemen..

A small sand blasting rig works great for tight corners.

I was @ Walmart the other day to get a can of sandable primer in auto body aisle and did notice there was a Rust-o-leum aerosol rust remover and I think a brush on remover. Aerosol was about 6 bucks I think. Actually, a couple of other makers of rust remover. Never tried any though.

Look into Por-15....it's actually a rust converter. In tight, hard to get to areas it may be just easier to cover it than remove it.

I use the small wire wheel brushes on a cordless drill and a toothbrush size wire brush for tight spots, then heavy primer and paint to cover. Not as good as sand blasting but works pretty well.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen, looking into some of the post here, I didn't realize there was so much on the market, all good ideas, Spriddle I seen one guy on a video mount a toothbrush like brush to a sawzall, worked pretty good too, another with white vinegar, I'll probably going to go with multiple ideas listed here, thanks again fellas.
