Hello newbie here
Hey all; I'm new to the golf car thing. Bought a G14A{I believe, JN3-108764} Runs great but believe it needs a rebuild on the fuel pump or a new one??? I'm also going to lift it{fabricate my own} repaint etc. Is there a recommended paint? is 4-5" lift enough for a 22" tire? Is there a good place to get parts, example: fuel pump carb kits etc? What ho would this cart be?
I've been checking out the site for a couple of weeks, joined last week, and posted this. I really like the looks of all the carts here some neat ideas. I plan on stripping down my cart and going through as much as possible plus a lift, customize, and repaint. Thanks for any thoughts in advance. |

Re: Hello newbie here
Welcome to the forum. Go with a 6 inch lift for the 22's. Check out this place: http://www.cartpartsplus.com/. Your fuel pump may just need cleaning out.

Re: Hello newbie here
Thanks for the welcome's. I will be pulling it into the gargae in the next couple of days. It is in real good shape, but I still like to change fluids and go through things. Rather go through it now then have a problem this summer while riding. I figured while I was tinkering with it I'd go ahead and paint, lift and fix any troubles.

Re: Hello newbie here
Thanks again for the welcomes. I read some where that the krylon fusion paint works fairly well for these carts, anyone know about this?
