Default G16 Clutching?

Is there clutch spring chart for G16? Have 6"'lift with off road tires and now just needs matching clutching. How does machined inner clutch help? Isn't that part already machined?

The Yamaha U-Max spring is an inexpensive upgrade for a lifted cart. Much better all around than the "white" torque springs.

90508-45849-00 Setting B3 is a good place to start. Just make sure the sheaves and ramp shoes are in good condition.

Don't know. A lot of those "one size fits all" springs are too stiff, robbing you of top end. In some cases the spring has led to clutch breakage.

The U-max spring is engineered for use in a stock Yamaha utility cart. They work well. You could check out Plowmans if you wanted to spend more for a far superior set up. Call and talk to Don. He'll help you out.

I've got the Performance Kit on a G22. It's nice.

I just installed a umaxx spring on my G14 with 22'' tires and its night and day difference as far as power and hill climbing. Definitely worth doing and cheap. Id recommend the clutch puller for sure.

Is all you need is that spring you don't need to order spacers .
