Yamaha 2001 G16A Engine

I recently got a 2001 Yamaha G16 and it appears that the motor is bad.

I am looking to purchase a new motor instead of trying to rebuild this one.

Serial # JN6-501371 and after researching I believe it is a 2001 Yamaha G16AW.

The Motor has serial number JR3-038138

I am having a hard time finding a new motor or maybe its just my searching skills.

Can anyone help me verify the cart information and assist me in where to find a new motor.

I don't know what your plans are for the Cart but I would Highly recommend that you give Don at Plowmans Carts a call.

Don will ask you your goals for the Cart and set you up with what you need. I would call him and get your options"Before" you buy anything.

Id question why do you think the motor is bad? The Yamaha motor is great. They last forever. Whats the issue with the motor
