Default Aftermarket intake adapter for g9

I am a gorilla and have an issue cracking those stupid plastic intake adapters, Does anyone cast or machine tougher ones? (Glass filled Nylon maybe) I know it keeps heat from soaking into the carb, Any help would be great... Is there a market for a part like this?

Not that I know of. Always use new gaskets and torque to about one pound!!

And it's always best to only use Genuine Yamaha Parts!!

Thanks for the help... I should just be more careful snugging dwn the the nuts... I think I will give it a shot and draw up a modified version of plastic one and machine a couple from 7075 aluminum.. I will keep you all informed on the progress...

The ones I broke were genuine yamaha. But they do get brittle with age and if you are not taking your carb on and off they will probably last forever.
