Default How to connect governor back

I bought my G29 few months back and even though its been running great i do get occasional backfires due to the fact that previous owner disconnected/ removed governor. I did speak with Don regarding the lift performance kit and he did say that i would need to connect the governor back to avoid blowing the motor.

I tried looking online and forum and didn't see any. instruction on how to properly reconnect it back. Any help will be appreciated.

when i bought the cart i was told that is was disconnected and being that i do get occasional backfires i thought it was related.

If i adjust that nut back a bit would that resolve the backfire issue?

thank you

Maybe but not likely check to make sure throttle butterfly in carb is closing completely if throttle cable doesn't have a little slack and holding the throttle open slightly that will cause a back fire
