Well they no longer make them call local cart dealers they usually have a bone yard of old carts about your only shot at finding one is from a donor cart

Will a magneto out of some thing else fit or work?

the snowMB motor in the 250 2stroke head and cyl piston ect
swaps on to the golfcart g-1 block
so I bet the spark bits are also about the same on the snowMB motors

I wonder if there are/were other uses for the same or similar motor
like lawn mower or other yard or commercial equip or gen sets ?
maybe bike or go-cart motor ??
as long as it is the same size dia

spark coil should be swap-able as long as similar
like one for an other two-stroke mag ignition motor

I'm with Nota on this one. I was thinking maybe a bravo 250 stator might work. They're easy to find on fleabay and if you put the g1 stator next to the bravo 250 stator they look almost identical. I've never taken actual measurements to compare the two but they look really close by eye. As Nota said, there are people who put a 250 Bravo jug on a g1 bottom so the motors must be pretty close in comparison. I've also heard the 215 g1 motor was just a tuned down bravo that made it quieter and safer for the golf course. Hopefully someone who has tried a snowmobile stator in their cart can be of more help.

Check it out! nota and Molon Labe, looks right, right down to the wires. Only difference is a yellow wire instead or white/green wire. eBay search bravo 250 stator, first one.
