Default Air shroud cover cracked on 2008 yamaha g29

Started working on my G29, lift kit, rims and tires etc... Once i took off the air intake i noticed that there is a crack on the air shroud cover. I can get the cover fairly cheap but was wondering how easy is it to replace. I assume an engine needs to be lifted in order to get the old cover removed

Any help would be appreciated.

Last week, I was able to remove it on my G15-A to clean the fins...

First I removed the 5 screws on the large part then, turning it, I was able to remove the 3 screws on the smaller cover. I did the opposite to put it back.

Mine being in plastic, I would repair it with epoxy or so...

Fix the crack with Gorilla tape. The bottom fastener is a pain to remove, but can be done with out lifting the engine. I leave it out.

Thanks I was able to remove the cover by loosening 4 bolts that hold the engine.

Looks like some of the white fins on the fan may be broken off as well. You'd be surprised how many pine cones, leaves, sticks can get thrown into this area. The 2010 g29 that I sold a few years ago had almost the same damage as yours in the picture above. Non of my fan blades were damage just the shroud.
