have been noticing that my g14 would stop pulling and you could smell and hear the belt slipping. well i installed a new belt with the same results. belt will start to slip. is there any adjustment to move the motor forward or something im overlooking?

Check the rear clutch. A snap ring holds the spring seat away from rear end housing and they have been know to break. Check that and the spring itself. If that s the problem I would recommend getting a new sliding sleve and heavier spring to go back together.

Where is the belt seating on the rear sleve, top middle or bottom?
Pull up on the belt and see how easy the rear sleve slides in .

Maybe a broken tensioner or motor mounts.
