Default G1 Steering Wheel Center Cap

I have my G1 just about ready for paint. Pics attached. The body was a mess, I had to reconstruct all 4 corners with a lot of fiberglass and bondo. Came out ok though. Primer is still wet in the pics which is why it looks shiny.

Anyone have any ideas / replacement thought for a steering wheel center cap on a G1? It doesn't look like anyone sells those. I suppose I can make one but it would be nice to get something more professional.

I went to an auto parts store and got a 2" front wheel bearing cover. Then wrapped about two rounds of black tape around the sealing surface (to make it fit snug) then glued it in with silicone to make sure it wouldn't vibrate out!!

I would go with the bearing cap idea. There was no cover from the factory, it was intended to be hidden behind a golf score card holder.

Ah, I didn't know that. That's why none of these carts have caps. I just assumed it was a design flaw and they all fell off over time.

My G2 had the same wheel, I took the annoying scorecard holder off, then put it back on because it looked even worse without it. Solved that problem, it's got a grant wheel on it now.

New here. Just got a G1 last week. Seems to run good. I went to Home Depot today and got a 2" filler plug for a electrical box. It is what you use to fill in a hole that has the knock out gone. Had to bend the prongs out a little to get a good fit. Plug cost just over a dollar.
Have a easy question for you guys. I am New to golf carts. Are the stock wheels on a G1 what you call centered, same distance from each edge.
I am sure I will have more questions. Thinking about drilling out the arm for the governor. Then welding a washer on top. One that would be large enough you could drill a hole in the face of it down through the governor arm and you could pin it if you wanted to hook the governor back up if you had kids wanting to ride it. Right now it will run 17 mph by my phone.

Just found the wrapper it is a 1 1/2 " knock out seal not a 2" as I said earlier.

Yes. Actually, all "stock" golf cart wheels across all manufacturers are 8 inch centered, 4 lug patterns. When I say "all" I mean all common makes (Club Car, EZ Go, Yammy, etc). Their wheels are all the same.
