Default G22 rear shock upgrade options (other than Jakes)

I know this has been asked many times, but in all my searching there is really only speculation and the thread dies before anyone confirms other shocks that may work. I have a Jake's long travel kit on my G22 and want to not only upgrade the rear suspension but would love something that would lift it another couple inches. Anyone been down this road found one that works? Thanks!

I can't be the ONLY one not happy with the stock rear shocks?

I went through this with my G16. You'd need to measure the length of the stock shock, then start doing research of what length large heavy atv shocks are. Find one that's a couple of inches longer and search ebay for that shock. I bet I went through three sets before I was satisfied. No. Can't tell you what I ended up using. Have no idea!! You'd need to look at like Kawasaki Brutt Force shocks, etc.

I just purchased a G22, and bought the Jakes HD springs. About to install.

I have yet to find anything that will work. Still hoping someone will pop up with some advice on what they have used, but I will post up on my build thread whatever I do go with.

Same boat here. Just installed Jake's LT kit on my G16 and, want an alternative to the rear stock shocks. Read about Monroe air shocks but not enough to feel comfortable. Hopefully someone will speak up.

I have seen a few models of the Monroe mentioned but never how successful they were or specifics on it.

You looking for stiffer or longer shocks?

Well... Both lol. I run a rear seat and haul a trailer so a little stiffer would likely benefit, but also don't want it so rough my kids filling comes out. I guess really just looking to improve ride quality and a more inches that I could crank up the front long travel to match.
