Yamaha G9 not charging
Ok I'm a newbie, cart isn't charging I have about 10.5 volts on the red/white wire going to v/r with the pedal depressed. About 5.8 ohms on the two little wires coming out of starter/gen. When i full field the generator I'm only getting about 13.5 volts. Brushes??? Cart turns over fine with a good battery. Have replaced the voltage regulator and load tested the battery. Thanks for the help

Re: Yamaha G9 not charging
I would take the loom off from the wires running to the voltage regulator. Ive had a lot of them that the harness looks great but on the inside I have found many times, wires that are rubbed bare and in half. 20+ year old carts. I bet you have a wire some place that is broke.
