Help with low speed torque on g8
Can't seem to get any low speed torque. Messed with governor no results.
How much should the butterfly on the carb move? Only moves 1/4". Would governor cable be sticking? |

Re: Help with low speed torque on g8
Something is, the carb should go full open when you floor it actually before that. The governor should have no effect until you get close to top speed, ground speed because the governor is by axle speed not the engine. The CVT controls engine speed along with the throttle. The governor only cuts throttle back when you reach set max speed.
