Default G9 barely any pulse on fuel pump line

I am working on a G9 with a Fuel pump that won't pump. I cleaned the pump, tried a known good one and it still won't pump. I checked the pulse line and there is very very slight pulsation on the line. What should I be looking at? Seals, rings, valve seals?? It runs well on a gravity tank if I choke it a bit. Carb was taken apart and cleaned properly, seems to have lots of compression.

First thing I would do is to get a new pump. Cleaning it is good but there is a chance that the membranes / gaskets in it are too worn to be of use. Just my opinion but there might not be any sense in checking anything else until you rule out the pump itself.

Pretty much any 3 line vacuum pump will work on that.

Make sure you have no cracks or leaks in the pulse line or any of the fuel lines.

I ruled out the pump, I tried the known good rectangular Mikuni pump off my snow machine. I'm going to try blowing a little compressed air through the pulse line tonight to see if it's blocked. I

Awesome. Then like New Guy said, check all your lines for tightness, cracks, whatever. If that's not it then you probably have to replace some seals. I don't work on any 4 strokes so perhaps someone else can be specific with your cart.

I also noticed that there was some air movement coming out of the oil filler neck when I pulled off the cap while running. I'll have to check my other G9 to see if that is normal.

Check that all lines are clear, & clean out the check valve. Also, running it without a oil cap should have 3 results, weakening the pulse to the fuel pump, reducing oil to top end, and oil spray all over the engine.

I would check the stupid check valve in the pulse/case line. I just removed one that was doing the same thing and now I have all the crankcase pulse I could ever need. I don't know that yours has one but this one did. there will be a bulge and a couple clamps close to the engine on the pulse line. just a thought

Non functional or missing check valve will starve valves & rockers of oil.
