Rear shocks for g1 with 4" lift
I'd like to just put bigger shocks on it rather than use all the spacer junk that came with the lift. Is it safe to just say, since the lift is 4", just to get a shock that is 4" longer? How/where would I find such a shock?

Re: Rear shocks for g1 with 4" lift
The bracket is not 4", in fact normally a 4" lift includes the 2" gain to 22 tires as well so its a 2" lift kit with 2 more inch from large tires. So 2" if the shock is on the axle or close to it. But if your new shocks were soft with more sag, then they would sit lower. Its tough. Yes you can do what you say but its trial and error. There are some builds on here if you take some time to search hard you should be able to find what shocks others used. But can be hard to find.
