G1 carb trouble
My carb keeps falling out of the joint it slips into while it's being driven. I replaced the metal ring and the bolt that tightens it but it still won't stay in the hole. Does anyone have an idea how that I can keep it in there?

Re: G1 carb trouble
That should be as straight forward as is gets. Are you sure that carb is getting seated right? It takes a pretty good push to get it into the manifold properly. There should be noticable "click" when you push the carb in. That metal ring is there to seal things just as much as to serve as a fastener. That carb shouldn't come off even if the ring wasn't there.
If you are sure that you are seating the carb right then the manifold part that it attaches to must be worn and needs replaced. I gotta tell you, though, I have never seen those go bad. |

Re: G1 carb trouble
I took the rubber part of and the carb off and pushed them together. I just didn't have it in far enough. Thanks!
