Default Yamaha G16A

Hi all cartholics,

I am in Need of a service(not owners) manual for my yama car. It is a 1989 G16A and is in great need of something I'm not sure what. I already replaced carb and gaskets, air cleaner and choke, but my car is still sluggish, studders and goes no where fast. Season approaching rapidly and I need to overhaul my engine. Any info helpful. Thanx

You will have to buy one. There are no service manuals available online.

There are no LEGAL service manuals available online. There will be no talk of any on this forum either. You can keep that crap somewhere else.

There are not any 1989 g-16A . G-16's were not produced untill late 1996.

Welcome! I was in your position with my G9, thought I could find out all the information that I would need here and there on forums and on the net, handy with tools and such, but there is no substitute for having the service manual with all the technical specs and tear down/ assembly tips that you need right there and handy. IMHO, bite the $60 bullet and buy the manual. It will save you that the first time you use it.
