G2 coil
My G2 needed a new coil, so I bought a cheap chinese one off of ebay. It is significantly smaller than the OEM coil, and it won't mount to the OEM coil mount location. You can mount one side of it but the other side won't reach across to opposite mount location. The cart will not run with the new coil on it. It will just barely creep along. I put the old coil back on and it runs fine. Does this coil need to be mounted on both sides to achieve a proper ground maybe ? If so I am going to purchase an OEM coil for it and send this one back.

Re: G2 coil
If it runs fine when you put the old one on why are you replacing it?

Re: G2 coil
Sorry, I should have touched on that in my original post. I am having a problem with the cart stalling when it gets hot and a "golf cart mechanic" I know seems to think the coil might be heating up and causing the issue.
