Default Jake's double a arm lift kit

Hey guys need some help here.. on the rear shock mounts the instructions show the 2nd hole may need drilled on some models. I am putting this lift on my 86 G2.. if I use the top hole of the bracket supplied with the factory shock mounts , I have no place to drill into frame for the second bolt. It looks to me that the bottom holes of the bracket need to mount in the factory holes and a hole drilled for the top hole. Sending a picture along.. anyone got pics of your mounting?

Having this issue with the wife front end.. the old single guys arm lift kit had 4 pick up points to move shocks to allow front end to level out.. anyone have suggestions on what you did to correct tires from towing out at the top.

On the rear I welded a muffler clamp to the extensions that clamped to the frame tube that is just forward of the extensions. No pic here at work, let me know if you want a pic I should have something at home. This was on my G9, not the G2.

Here is a pic of the jake's rear shock extensions on my G1.

They look different than the ones for your G2. I did have to drill holes in rear cross brace of frame to install. Maybe the instructions are universal.

Be careful not to try adjusting the front until you can road test it as the front will sit differently once it is driven. I made the mistake of adjusting my front before I drove it and ended up way off after road test. I ended up having my daughter drive cart while I watched front tires. After several adjustments of spring rate on shocks and toe I finally got the alignment acceptable.

Kingpins and bushings OK? Marks141 has this lift on his G9 and doesn't appear to have that problem.
