Oil filter?
Just picked up a 1993 Yam G8. Is there an oil filter on this cart?

Re: Oil filter?
Nope, wish there were. Uses a "splasher" on the bottom of the connecting rod, so not a pressurized system. No way I know to even add one. Yamaha says to change the oil every 250 hours. I cut that in half or less, depending on use. A quart of oil is cheap.

There is synthetic oil, and there is synthetic blend oil. Different animals.
