G9 Govenor Bypass
Think I need to secure the remaining speed lever (wire tie, etc). Does the position (left or right if looking from rear of cart) matter? THANKS!!!

Re: G9 Govenor Bypass
I re-read everything I could find here and still don't know. I used a spring to the muffler support from the old carb pin hole on the speed lever to keep it in the "up" or "engine side" position. Hope this is correct. Thoughts anyone? Thanks.....

Re: G9 Govenor Bypass
Flint I can't help you about the lever direction, but the spring is the way to do it.
I would say your clutch needs some slider shoes. |

Re: G9 Govenor Bypass
Thanks Dooms. I'm sure they have never been replaced. That's the one area I haven't touched yet. Will order them and put in with new spring.

Here's a pic of the spring to hold speed control lever in the forward position. Right or wrong? Thanks. PS, Extra pic is dirt bike muffler going in.......

Re: G9 Govenor Bypass
The header pipe is off a four cylinder 650 Kawasaki, muffler is Honda dirt bike, so I will have a Yamadakaki exhaust?
