Default gear question?

i have a 1983 yamaha 2 stroke cart and i am putting a small four wheeler motor in it and i am not sure of the sprocket to use on the rearend. the four wheeler had 14 teeth in the front and 40 in the rear but the only sprocket i found to side right on the input shaft only has 12 teeth. the motor is not but 110cc. do you think it will pull itself? i want to use the stock rearend with a sprocket does anybody have any suggestions? thanks
