Yamaha G30/G31
Dear Forum,
Firstly, 'Hi!' - I've just joined the forum and also just entered the world of Golf Cart's in Hong Kong... I have a brand new Yamaha G30/G31 (I'm not sure which to be honest as I don't have any documentation in English!) This cart is imported from Japan and I was wondering if there are any experts on this forum? Many thanks, Alan |

Re: Yamaha G30/G31
What is your serial number ? I can have you the parts catalog if you wish (what is the color) Gas Japanese serial # and Electric Japanese serial # They have 3 types of Golf carts:
The G30s are all of the 3rd type and the only ones to have 4 disc brakes. We need pictures... |

Re: Yamaha G30/G31
Hi,
Thanks for the quick response! I'll get some pictures this evening and check the serial number - would be great to get hold of the spares catalogue. The model I have has the disc brakes all-round and the annoying auto handbrake - which constantly clicks so much when your reversing!! There appears to be a way to talk to the ECU from under the front seat - so will be interested in seeing if I can buy the software/interface - although I suspect that may only be available in Japanese... Best regards, Alan |

Re: Yamaha G30/G31
Here is your parts catalog; not having your color, I took the white one.
You are lucky, there was an English version, except headers I translated on the first page (in blue). I also added a table of content (bookmarks). I could not find the owner's manual or anything else, sorry. The auto-park system is not the only "electronic feature"... There are plenty of others like a speed controller, especially when going downhill, etc... This being said, I really like this machine, new double wishbone front suspension, 4 hydraulic disk brakes, etc... except all these detectors/electronic stopping the engine and applying (very abruptly) the brakes (disconnecting a sensor for instance) Have fun! |
