Default G22 running! but not...

So tonight I put in an OEM carb, AM fuel pump, new oil with some STP oil treatment, 91 no Ethanol with some Marvel's on an '03 G22A I got from a guy who said it "smokes like hell". Ran good but smoked when I took it out but the smoke stopped in 5 minutes (woo hoo!) so I ran it for another 5 minutes or so and was happy, stopped for 10 minutes and had a beer. Then took it out again no problem then stopped for a second an it just puttered, wouldn't move.
pushed it back in the garage and revved it in N a few times still sputtering. Then it roared back to life! then went back to sputtering.

I have no idea.

help pls thx.

After it's sputtering for awhile pull the spark plug and see if it's wet or dry this will tell us it's fuel if it's dry or ignition if it's wet and we can go from there

Thanks for responding. The plug is dry as a bone.

Ok so that tells us it's fuel related put the cart in neutral pull the fuel hose of and crank the cart over your should have a nice little stream of fuel if you don't I'd make sure the pulse like isn't cracked or plugged and make sure pickup tube inside the tank hasnt broke off or has cracks if you have a nice stream I'd pull carb off and check float you can blow air through the fuel inlet with your mouth and raise float it should stop air flow when float is level and while your in there clean it I know it's new but sometimes you do get some gunk from manufacturing that can plug it

I’d put a clear fuel filter so you can see what it’s doing

The fuel stream out of the pump is good and the carb is good it runs like a top for a few minutes then slows to a sputter.

Well I checked the spark cold engine and it was good. Then ran till it sputtered for a bit and then checked the spark again. No spark.
Gonna change the TCI out but god **** that 5th screw on the bottom of the flywheel cover is a bitch and I cant get to it. Suggestions??

Patience. Try getting at it from the rear. And don't reinstall it.
