Help Needed
Got a call from an old friend of mine looking for help in getting a Yamaha G16 removed from a golf club after it was vandalised.
She asked me to take it away as she had no mass on it any more. The brake pedal was broken off and removed the back wheel was twisted and the rear end seems to be broken.it moves from side to side when you push it. I want to restore it for her but don't know where to start. |

Re: Help Needed
The engine mount moves from side to side hitting of the wheel arches.
Does this mean the front pivot bush is worn or broken . |

Re: Help Needed
Is the panhard bar in place? If it's missing, the swingarm will move from side to side. I'd be concerned about frame rust, by the looks of the pedal mount.

Re: Help Needed
You can likley pick up a brake peddle assembly on eBay for cheep I think i saw one the other day.
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Yamaha-g16-g...cAAOSwEtZZ18hF But as previously stated I would be concerned about the rust. The frame looks like it's in rough shape. |

Re: Help Needed
The frame with the engine is attached to the frame in 3 places the two shocks and the bolt at the front which goes through a bush
There is space on either side of this bushing. Should there not be !! I will be sanding down the rust on the frame and welding in parts that need to be replaced It will take time .. Just need to be put in the right direction |
